Auditions 2026/27

We are currently seeking a limited number of dancers for our 2026/27 season. And we will also offer a junior/inter development team opportunity once again!

*Auditions must be done in person for the junior development teams.

*Auditions should be done in person for company auditions (we will accept video submission of a one minute piece of improvisation for company auditions only). *Please note: preference will be given to those auditioning in person.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, June 14th at the Innovate Dance Arts Studios.

10 - 12 yrs from 11:15 - 12:45pm

13+yrs from 1:00 - 2:30pm

Deadline is June 13th, 2026 for video submissions.

Artistic Director, Sarah DeVito creates annual company pieces titled: ‘22 - Maybe we’ll see / ‘23 - All the LIght we can not see / ‘24 - Sonder / ‘25 - Pieces of Me / ‘26 Butterfly Effect

Company members were able to take part in workshops with Gioconda Barbuto (Netherlands Dans Theatre/Arts Umbrella), Davi Rodrigues (AD of Lamondance), Rachael Prince (Former Ballet BC Member), Lesley Telford (Inverso Productions/Les Grands Ballets Canadiens), Luca Afflitto (Ballet BC Dancer), Rebecca Margolik (Arts Umbrella)

Collaborative performances with Arts Umbrella, Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet & Lamondance

Enrichment opportunities included: Rubberband Dance, Lamondance, Kidd Pivot, Hofesh Shechter, Peeping Tom (Belgium) & Ballet BC.
