Auditions 2025/26

We are currently seeking a limited number of dancers for our 2025/26 season. And we will also offer a junior/inter development team opportunity once again!

*Auditions must be done in person for the junior/inter development teams.

*Auditions should be done in person for company auditions (we will accept video submission of a one minute piece of improvisation for company auditions only). *Please note: preference will be given to those auditioning in person.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, June 15th at the Innovate Dance Arts Studios.

10 - 12 yrs from 10:30 - 11:30am

13-14 yrs from 11:45 - 1:00pm

15+yrs “company audition” from 1:15 - 2:45pm

*NOTE - 2025/26 dancers that were apprentice or company members should attend the 1:15pm class regardless of age.

Deadline is June 14th, 2025 for video submissions.

Company members were able to take part in workshops with Gioconda Barbuto (Netherlands Dans Theatre/Arts Umbrella), Davi Rodrigues (AD of Lamondance), Rachael Prince (Former Ballet BC Member), Lesley Telford (Inverso Productions/Les Grands Ballets Canadiens), Luca Afflitto (Ballet BC Dancer)

Collaborative performances with Nanaimo Contemporary Ballet

Enrichment opportunities included: Rubberband Dance, Lamondance, Kidd Pivot, Hofesh Shechter, Peeping Tom (Belgium) & Ballet BC.
